A PERSONAL NOTE FROM LASH SARANNA - MANAGING DIRECTOR, AUTOBAHN
After 27 years of Living The Porsche Dream, my team and I will bring the curtain down on what has been a fantastic journey through all of our lives which has seen unbelievable highs and very few lows, so you could say a roller coaster ride with full on adrenaline proportions
Having started the project from a single one car workshop at the rear of a fuel station to a fully blown retail operation encompassing probably the best Independent Porsche Sales Showroom, Service and Parts Operation not just in the UK but across Europe with an array of the finest examples of Porsche cars spanning the range from the Latest Brand New mouth watering technological and cutting edge designs to the Legendary jaw dropping Classics that have built Porsche’s reputation as The Iconic Sports Car Brand that it is today, we have had them all and supplied them all over the years
It has been a pleasure to be involved with the Porsche Brand, a joy to know that we have fulfilled so many customer’s lives with joy as they have realised their lifetime dreams of Porsche ownership whereby we have seen customer’s buy cars and then their children to grow up and come to us to buy their Porsche from us so we have gone through generations of providing happiness to our customers, all delivered by us with the same enthusiasm and passion we had when we sold our very first Porsche 924 from our humble beginnings
My team with the backbone of the Staff being Paul, Nim, Charnjit and Sukhi have been the foundation that has allowed me to build an incredibly sound business which has always been based on honour, trust and integrity to serve every customer as if they were our first and last customer to uphold these ethics over the period of 27 years is a testament to all of them.
And now the time has come for us to move forward onto the next challenge in our lives before which I would like to put in writing my heartfelt “Thank You” to Paul, Nim, Charnjit, Sukhi and the other members of staff whom have been involved in our journey for the quest of “Perfection of Porsche Retailing”
New Beginnings
As with every Ending, there has to be a New Beginning and so it is here that Autobahn hand over to PCT Cars, David, Nick and Simon, the guys who have been running our workshop operation since our move to the current site in 2003 have taken up the challenge of Porsche Sales and as of April 2nd PCT will Officially take over the Autobahn Showroom
Paul will remain as Sales Manager with the new set up for PCT, whilst Simon will be his right hand man with support provided by Nick and David to all our customers a seamless operation should take care of all the requirements you may have
It is onwards and upwards as both Charnjit and I take on new challenges to go forward with International Business of Import and Export of all Prestige and Performance Automobile Brands, Nim ventures into new projects in India, whilst Sukhi is keeping his options open as he considers Further Education and, so our lives evolve
I would personally like to thank each and every customer we have had the pleasure of dealing with over the years, without whom this would not have been possible
