Porsche Produce it’s 10,000th Panamera
The Porsche Panamera has inspired a
very marmite approach to its design. The motor industry has been
divided since its release, regarding its success for Porsche. The
answer to the success of the Panamera is now very
visible.
Porsche announced this week that they had
produced their 10,000th Panamera and considering the
model has only been on sale for 3 months, it spells real success
for the manufacturer. The Panamera has not yet gone on sale in the
states yet, but many predict that when Porsche do sell the 5 door
super car in America, their sales could potentially double at a
minimum.
The Panamera is built on the same production
line as the Cayenne SUV. The factory is the Liepzig plant, which is
located in north East Germany. Porsche hopes to produce over 20,000
Panamera’s each year from this plant, with early signs of success
from this model, they could have underestimated their own
success.
Bloomberg have also recently announced that
the Porsche Panamera is their car of the year. Further news that
people are warming to the design of this awesome powerhouse of a
luxurious GT car.
If you were wondering, the 10,000th
car was a silver turbo, destined for Singapore.
